Multi-select navigation across the Ads hierarchy
Compare multiple accounts, campaigns or ad sets side by side using the multi-level selection in the Ads dashboard.
Goal
Compare multiple accounts, campaigns or ad sets side by side without traversing each level one by one.
Prerequisites
- At least one ad source connected (Meta, Google or TikTok)
- Ads dashboard access (Owner / Admin / Media Buyer role)
Step 1: Check rows to compare
- Go to /app/ads
- At every level (sources, accounts, campaigns, ad sets, ads) a checkbox is rendered on the left of each row
- Check the rows you want to explore together (e.g. 2 Meta campaigns + 1 Google campaign)
The selection is persisted in the URL: refresh, share the link or use the back button without losing your work.
Step 2: Drill down to the child level
- A floating action bar appears at the bottom of the screen as soon as at least one row is selected
- Click View next level (N) ->
- The dashboard now shows only the ad sets / ads that belong to your selection
Step 3: Reading the breadcrumb
The breadcrumb at the top reflects your path and is fully derived from the URL: sharing the link with a teammate shows them the exact same view.
Common issues
- No rows after drilling: the children most likely had no spend over the selected period. Widen the date range.
- The floating bar does not appear: make sure you are on a level that has a child level (the "ads" level is terminal).
- A feature is missing: use "Ideas & Roadmap" in Settings to submit it.
- You see a bug: report it via the support menu at the top right.
